The Low GI Diet.

Thats positively true and it wouldn't make sense to reject it.

GI diet But then, common sense does not appear to be clear where the modern way of eating is troubled. It appears we'd rather spend our hard-earned dosh on brightly packed foods made up principally of chemicals and additions. Our body does not know what to do with this nutritive nuclear waste, and forces it into fat stores. And because this food leaves you hungry again in 2 two hours, you eat more. And it is not goody-goody Thou shalt give up candy and fries forever, or else, but is just a list of foods that are low in calories and high in nourishment. The Glycemic Index is about how quickly your body digests food, and what it does with it. High GI foods like cornflakes or packed white bread are broken down quickly and give small nourishment as they are processed and stripped of vitamins and fibre, and are generally full of sugar or salt. The calories from these foods will be stored as fat, as they cause a pointy rise in blood sugar in the bloodstream. The body reacts by manufacturing insulin to bring the levels down " and high insulin levels are without delay linked to fat storage. And as the body hasn't been correctly nourished and wishes fuel to keep you working, you find you are hungry again a little while later. Low GI foods, on the other hand, are close to their natural state " brown or basmati rice, wholegrain pasta and bread. Base a meal around these, and your body digests them more slowly, the fibre helps your guts work efficiently, and the food is used to power your method rather than becoming more fat. So you feel fuller for longer and enjoy better health and vitality. Good food equals a good life " and the Low GI Diet will help you achieve it.
